Because all food coloring, even liquid, starts as powder; ColorPops powder food coloring produces the deepest most pigmented shades of all food colors. Powder food color will deepen/darken in shade as it stands. Allow it to sit for 10-15 minutes after mixing to allow for full color saturation, especially with black and red. Powder food color may look different in the jar than when mixed with a liquid medium. This is normal. The more you use them the more you will enjoy all the possibilities they offer!
